What are some of the barriers that can make the dementia journey more difficult for people living with dementia and their families?

What are some of the enablers that can support people living with dementia and their families along the dementia journey?

Dementia New Zealand is hosting a conversation, asking these questions to three health professionals working in different services supporting people living with dementia and their families. We will be joined by Dr. Gary Cheung (Psychiatrist for Mental Health services for older people, Dr. Sarah Cullum (Old age Psychiatrist for Memory Team and Associate Professor at University of Auckland, and Lara Hitchcock (Registered Nurse, Memory Assessment Clinic at Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Canterbury).
