Our evening starts from 5.30pm sipping bubbles and soaking up the Napier War Memorial Centre’s stunning Pacific Ocean views. After capturing the moment with our event photographer it’s time to check out your favourites from the selection of amazing auction items on offer.

Event Highlights

In the grand ballroom our M.C, Te Radar, guides us through the evening while we dine on a delicious three course silver service dinner from Dish. Our guest speaker for the evening is Chris Martin from award winning restaurant Origine and co-host of Season 2 of ‘The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes’. After dinner, Harcourts will present the live charity auction.

Place your bids and help us raise funds to meet the growing need for our services across Hawke’s Bay. Every dollar from the auction goes directly into the free programmes we provide to support people in our community affected by dementia mate wareware.

When the hammer falls on the last auction lot the lights go down and the music turns up as Stolen Records takes over the stage for the rest of the night.

Dementia Hawkes Bay is a registered charitable trust and the only charity solely dedicated to providing dementia mate wareware specific services in Hawke’s Bay.

Our purpose is to create an inclusive future where all people affected by dementia mate wareware can live their best lives in their community.

We provide free support, programmes, and education, to our clients, and their care partners, family, and whānau. Our team delivers compassionate quality care to our clients from the point of diagnosis, and throughout their dementia mate wareware journey.

Our programmes encourage independence and continued community connection which can delay the need for residential care, allowing those with a diagnosis of dementia mate wareware to continue living in their own home for as long as possible.
