About Us
Dementia Wellington is a long-standing not-for-profit organisation, supported by the people and communities of Kāpiti, Porirua, Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington and Te Awa Kairangi Hutt Valley. We are an affliliate of Dementia New Zealand.
We are the only charity in Wellington providing free, community-based specialised support services to local families. Through tailored advice, support, information and education, our team at Dementia Wellington offer free services to anyone diagnosed with dementia and their families, at every stage of the disease. We have our main office in Petone and have a small satellite office in Waikanae.

Our Dementia Advisors are all registered health professionals who are well-versed in navigating the mate wareware dementia journey, from getting a diagnosis within our health system to coping with changes as a whānau.
