Dementia is one of New Zealand’s most significant healthcare challenges. Over 70,000 Kiwis are currently living with dementia mate wareware today, by 2050 this is expected to rapidly rise to almost 170,000 people.
Support is at the heart of everything we do. For every person living with dementia there is a carer, whānau, a network of friends, and often colleagues who need information and support.
A bequest is a wonderful way to support the work of Dementia Wellington beyond your lifetime. It’s a gesture of kindness which means a great deal to the people who are affected by Dementia, and ensures our care and support remains assessable and free to all.
Our vision is to inspire people to live well with Dementia and remain active and engaged in their community.
