COMPETITION RULES

Artful Minds Facebook Competition – Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is Dementia North.

2. Prize

The prize is one pair (two tickets) to attend Artful Minds at Deloitte, Auckland, from 6pm on Thursday 27 August 2026.

The prize does not include travel, accommodation or any other costs associated with attending the event. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

3. Who can enter

Entry is open to people aged 18 years or over who are able to attend Artful Minds in Auckland on Thursday 27 August 2026.

Employees of Dementia North and people directly involved in administering the Artful Minds event or this competition are not eligible to enter.

4. How to enter

To enter, participants must:

  • Visit the Artful Minds online auction using the link provided in the competition post.
  • Choose the auction item they would most like to win.
  • Comment on the competition post telling us which item they have chosen and who they would bring to Artful Minds.

No purchase, donation or auction bid is required to enter.

One entry per Facebook account.

5. Competition period

The competition opens when the Facebook competition post is published on Sunday 23 August 2026.

Entries close at 7pm NZST on Monday, 24 August 2026. Entries received after this time will not be included.

6. Choosing the winner

One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

The draw will take place on Monday, 24 August 2026 at 8pm. Dementia North’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result.

7. Contacting the winner

The winner will be contacted by Dementia North through Facebook Messenger and Dementia North will also reply to the winner’s original competition comment.

The winner will have until 10am on Tuesday, 25 August from the time Dementia North contacts them to confirm that they accept the prize and are able to attend the event.

If the winner does not respond by 10am, cannot attend the event, or is otherwise ineligible, Dementia North reserves the right to draw another winner.

Subject to the winner’s agreement, their name may be announced on the Dementia North Facebook page.

8. Scam awareness

Dementia North will only contact the winner through the official Dementia North Facebook page.

We will not ask entrants or the winner to provide bank or credit card details, make a payment or pay a fee to claim the prize.

Please disregard and report any other account claiming to represent Dementia North in relation to this competition.

9. Facebook

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook.

By entering, participants acknowledge that Facebook has no responsibility or liability in connection with the competition.

  • Privacy

Any personal information collected in connection with the competition will be used by Dementia North to administer the competition and prize and will be handled in accordance with Dementia North’s privacy obligations.

  • General

Dementia North reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions.

If circumstances outside Dementia North’s reasonable control affect the competition or event, Dementia North may amend, suspend or cancel the competition as reasonably necessary.
